With God’s help, today’s challenges are tomorrow’s victories!

Do not be confused, be wise instead; study and pursue the will of God as if your soul’s future depends on it because it does. You cannot follow Jesus if you don’t understand the conditions. “Then Jesus told his disciples, 

“If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?“”

You cannot do God’s will if you don’t know His will.

Satan wants us to believe that good is evil and evil is good.

Through the study of God’s Word, we gain understanding, and with understanding, faith, and discernment and how to obtain eternal salvation and help our loved ones to do the same.

What is the ultimate act of love

UNSELFISH UNCHANGING LOVE

  • Our tastes change,
  • Societies change,
  • People change,
  • Governments change,

GOD DOES NOT CHANGE

  • God’s Love does not change,
  • God’s Truth does not change,
  • God’s Word does not change,
  • God’s Promises do not change.

We must NOT conform to worldly changes but rather stay true to God’s unchanging love. His love offers us eternal life in heaven if we choose to accept it and follow Jesus according to God’s will, not ours. Conforming to God’s will is the ultimate act of unselfishness and expression of true love.

Jesus showed us what it is to have unselfish, pure love for God and for us as He walked this earth, staying true to doing God’s Will to the point of becoming the ultimate Sacrifice.

Matthew 26:39: “And going a little farther He fell on his face and prayed, saying, 

“My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.”

Jesus commands us:

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13:34-35)

“For when God made a promise to Abraham, since he had no one greater by whom to swear, he swore by himself, saying, “Surely I will bless you and multiply you.” And thus Abraham, having patiently waited, obtained the promise. For people swear by something greater than themselves, and in all their disputes an oath is final for confirmation. So when God desired to show more convincingly to the heirs of the promise the unchangeable character of his purpose, he guaranteed it with an oath, so that by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us. We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain, where Jesus has gone as a forerunner on our behalf, having become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.” Hebrews 6:13-20

Sometimes, we let our smarts get in the way of the obvious as we seek hidden meanings behind simple words rather than accepting them at face value. Sometimes, we do this with each other, and it causes issues; sometimes, with God’s word, and it causes issues. However, with God’s word, we can be certain there is only one perfect answer, one answer that will not conflict with other parts of God’s word. God cannot lie, and all scripture is God-breathed, so the Bible will not contradict itself.

What’s not to love about Christianity?

Unless one’s goals are to do evil, what’s not to love about Christianity?

Christianity promotes: (Goodwill, Kindness, Love, Honesty, Compassion, Mercy, Forgiveness, Sharing, Sanctity of Life, etc.) “All things good!”

Christianity opposes: (Lies, Thievery, Corruption, Greed, Dishonesty, Revenge, Murder, Hatred, Deceitfulness, selfishness, hate, etc.) “All things bad!”

Utopia on earth is NOT possible, but if everyone embraced the teachings of Christ using God’s Word as our standard, we would be much closer.

Why complicate the simple?

Making the right choices IS NOT Rocket Science!

We make it seem like rocket science to justify our decisions. We find ways to complicate the simple. Maybe it’s to give ourselves an excuse when repercussions occur, or perhaps we are using the wrong standards. God’s Word is fixed, it’s unchanging Truth. If God’s Word is our standard, rather than what is culturally or worldly accepted, the following is a simple question:

Is there more reason not to do it than to do it? The answers are straightforward!

Controlling our emotions can be difficult; resisting fleeting feelings and momentary selfish desires may seem unsatisfying. However, the more we train ourselves to seek righteousness by God’s standard, the less tempting those situations become and the more control we have. God’s Word is the ultimate standard for living, and we never need to regret making the right decision, as when we choose God’s ways over worldly ways or momentary desires.

Life can be tough; it’s why we need Christ as our foundation.

Sometimes life can be very tough, yet in Christ we will find ways to trudge forward. In Christ, we learn to lean on Christ by leaning on God’s Holy Word; to do so, we study and pray to know God’s Word, to know God.

In Christ, we pray with thanksgiving and hope, knowing God will provide. We cling to unwavering faith, knowing that tough times, like storms, eventually fade into sunshine and calm skies.

During seemingly long storms, our roots may be strained, but if we cling to the foundation of Christ, as the storm lifts, our roots will heal, and we will become stronger than ever. Our faith and foundation deepened, adding to our wisdom. Eventually, Good times will bless us again, and what we’ve gained will help us bless others, so that when we look back on our lives, we will find beauty growing along our paths and count it all Joy.

Remember, with God, all things are possible, and the storms will lift.

HATRED IS NOT FUNNY!

Take a stand, be the example

In 2026, several Hollywood elites, TV shows, and news personalities seem to believe and justify the idea that hatred, disrespect, and often foul language are now funny, even required to make their points and get attention. Of course, they would never agree with this assessment, yet their actions and words show how true it is.

HATRED IS NOT FUNNY

Hateful actions are not funny, Hateful pictures are not funny, Hateful words are not funny. Hateful videos are not funny. Laughing and sharing hateful things encourages hateful things. Stop it, please! Instead of laughing at and justifying gossip and hate, encourage kindness, make a positive difference, inspire positive change, and help remove hate from the overall equation.

We have a choice!

Don’t laugh, don’t justify, don’t encourage, change the channel, walk away, take a stand, and protect your heart and soul. “Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.” (See Philippians 4:8)  

It is what it is, but it will be what you make of it!

“Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.” Ephesians 4:29-32 ESV

God knows what we will do, so why Why Test US?

God’s Test – Why test us?

God is all-knowing, so if inclined, God has the ability to know what choice we will make when He puts us to the test, so why test us? Maybe the testing is not for God’s benefit but rather for our benefit, and/or for those whom we are examples. Our response to God’s test could help ground our faith or prompt us to seek answers in His Word, to seek Him in prayer, or to cast our anxieties on Jesus, things that solidify our trust and deepen our root system.

Realizing our failures can have the same effect. We may not realize we are being tested, but each of us knows in our hearts whether we are doing right or wrong. Abraham was put to the test with his choice regarding sacrificing Issac.

As Abraham passed the test, he gained from the trial. If God were so inclined, He could know whether Abraham would pass the test, but in Abraham’s case, we learn from his story and his example to this day.

As the rooster crows three times, Peter failed his test, and Jesus knew he would. Still, in his disappointment and sorrow, Peter became even more committed after Jesus returned and later ascended into heaven—another example to all who read his story. Even Jesus was tested, but because He knew scripture, He answered the test with scripture.

Let us study so that we may confront the test with God’s Word in our hearts.

What a different World this would be

Faithful Christians in Government

If politicians were faithful Christians, corruption would not be an issue. Lies and Deceit would not be an issue. If we love Christ, we keep His commandments, no matter our role in this world. Love of God and our neighbors are the two Greatest commands.

The keyword to this statement is “Faithful “- those who are continuously striving to be Christ-like, to love others as Christ loved us!

You can’t love two masters, such as greed and God.

“No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.”

Hope Ends – Faith Ends – Belief Ends – All False teachings End

Our Eternal Reality Begins

Are you ready?

On Judgment Day, in a twinkling of an eye, all our Hope, faith, and belief disappear as we face the reality of the choices we face today.

Every Truth we shared that brought someone to Christ or every false teaching we adopted, repeated, or promoted leading us and others away from Christ will become part of our fate, part of our judgment. It is so important that we don’t accept others’ words but rather question and study God’s word. God gave us Truth, Example, Inferences, and References to follow in His Word. If we find a contradiction, it shows our understanding is wrong – seek the truth in God’s word, believing false teaching has serious consequences.

“For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.” 2 Timothy 4:3-4 ESV

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.” 2 Corinthians 5:10 ESV
